The lack of food has forced Argentavis to change its hunting patterns the desert subspecies will grab onto prey with either its claws or its more powerful beak. The mountain forest subspecies has adapted their destructive slow rolling skill into one that is quicker and more maneuverable, better suited for the complicated terrain this biome presents.Īrgentavis found its own way to get acclimated to the hostile Desert biome. Vote 2: Some of the gatherers reattempt gathering grawlic from the forest to grow a steady supply of in the village, for both seasoning and protection from vampires if need be.Found only in the Mountain Forest biome, Doedicurus subspecies can easily be recognized the distinctive color and shape its tail has. Vote 1: Have Kazar and his apprentices return to experimentation, this time to see if they can’t rearrange and modify the shortened fireball spell inscriptions into a light-based spell (again, preferably not too close to the mostly wooden village). “I’ll see if the others aren’t interested,” she decided, and the two resumed eating. Besides, we’d at least have something to go with meals.” “All we’d need is a little before growing more of our own. “Hasn’t vampire activity stopped outside of rumors?” Teralu asked, undeterred. “It only grows in the forest, through, remember? Everyone’s afraid of going there due to the vampires.” “What ever happened to grawlic? I know it came in handy when the vampire crisis started.” The younger Kazarite nodded appreciatively, then perked up. “And good company,” she added, nodding at her friend with a small smile. I’m just grateful for a roof over my head and regular meals,” she said, looking down to her food. Sometimes it’s the dark things out there waiting for us, sometimes it’s ourselves. “The world can be a grim place sometimes, Teralu. Vampires were hardly the only monsters out there, or even the worst, and the Korens’ misdeeds, even the one raid performed out of malice, were hardly the extent of the cruelty Spiecine were capable of. Truth be told, she didn’t consider the ordeals she’d gone through as a Kazarite too different from what she’d both heard and seen herself in the Kazarite homeland. “This tribe’s been through a lot, hasn’t it, Yarifa?” The younger of the two scratched behind her single horn as she looked toward it. The graveyard, which was just within the confines of the village wall, was a short distance from them and served as a somber backdrop. Meanwhile, a pair of female Spiecine, gatherers by trade, sat at the outskirts of the village, having their evening meal - smoked rainbow fish and chopped strandstalk, with a piece of animal skin for a plate. He resolved to work toward it based off of what the Kazarites already knew. Most striking was that the vampires had some obscure weakness - whatever it was, Kazar was convinced that it was magical in nature. Kazar mulled over what the hieroglyphics had revealed. The copying was difficult some of the copies were cruder than other copies, but they got it done and brought the paper back to translate what the Smoke Tower said within the walls of it. After the new lookouts were built Kazar sent out his disciples and a group of scouts to copy the hieroglyphs found within the smoke tower so they could translate what was inside of the tower. These new lookouts helped the Kazarites to spot animals and monsters that came too close to the wall and because of this increased defense against surprise attacks. To keep an eye on what is going on outside of the Kazarites village the Kazarites rebuilt a wall lookout to be able to notice any suspicious activity that were to occur outside. Vote 2: Using our new paper, send the scouts back to the fog tower to try and copy down more of the hieroglyphics (whatever the vampires didn’t get to, at least). (Kazarites) Vote 1: Reattempt construction of the wall lookout platforms to prepare in case the vampires recover or the Korens retain hostilities (the Kazarites have no idea what’s happening over there).
